■ PROPOSAL FOR EXHIBITION. By Teleeraph—Preß« Association. Christchurch, January 15. ; At a meeting held to-night a resolution was nassed that it is considered to be in tho best interests of the Dominion that an exhibition of national industries— primary, -secondary, and manufacturingbe held at the earliest possible date.
. It was decided that the exhibition should be exclusively one of goods substantially made in New Zealand, with the execution of a display of goods used in New Zealand, but not manufactured here, although the raw material necessa'fv for their manufacture was obtained in New Zealand.
