BRITISH AND AUSTRALASIAN REPRESENTATIVES. Sydney, January 15. Brookes, Patterson, and Anderson have been chosen to represent Australasia in the Davis Cup contest. ICingscote, Lowe, and Beamish will represent the British Isles.—Press Assn. SINGLES MATCHES COMMENCE TO-DAY. (Rec. Janunry 15, 10 p.m.) Sydney, January 15. The weather has cleared and is hot. Co-morrow the first two rounds of the singles will be played, : Patterson (Australasia) meeting Lowe (Britain), __ and Anderson (Australasia) meeting Kingscote (Britain). On Saturday tho doubles will be played, Brookes and Patterson (Australasia) playing Kingscote and Beamish (Britain). On Monday tho finals of the singles will be decided.— Press Assn.
