The remarkable success won on Saturday by Miss Daisy Kennedy, the brilliant violinist, is expected to attract another crowded houso to the Concert Chamber to-night, when she will givo the second recital of her season. An excellent programmo has v been set , out, drawn from .the priceless works of old masters to gems of the modern school of violin composition. Tlio Lyric Concert Party, a talented combination, contribute an excellent programme 'of vocal and instrumental numbers. EMPRESS THEATRE, Crowded houses at all sessions yesterday were the rule at the Empress Theatre where "Tli e Hayseeds at the Melbourne Cup, Beaumont Smith's great Australian comedy-drama, is tin! attraction.
