Tho Blackbrook Council carried'a rel:o4ut'on calling on Mr. Dillon, Mr. ' Joseph Devlin and other Nationalists to reorganise the Nationalist forces. Mr. Dillon, in replying, says that in view of the result of tho last election and tho infamous character of the present Government of Ireland, ho has not felt free, to tako a prominent part in reorganising Ireland on constitutional lines. Commenting further on tho Sinn Fein policy, Mr. Dillon deplored tho throwing away of their most effectivo weapon, an independent and united party in the House of Commons, and tho declaring of war against the British Empire when Ireland had no means of carrying it on in a civilised and decent fashion. Armed and masked men raided the post offico at Limerick, and escaped with thousands of pounds—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. OFFICIALS HELD UP WITH PISTOLS. (Eec. January 4, 11.5 p.m.) London, January 2. The raiders arrived on bicycles.'They picketed the approaches to the central post office and cut tho telephone wires. They then divided into parties, going to tho rarting room and other departments and holding up tho officials with pistols, while the leaders seized the oldage pensions, which were chiefly in silver and ready for payment.
