Resolutions were passed advocating: (1) Payment of removal or transfer expenses ns in the Civil Service; (2) accumulated leave on full pay to- refurncd-soldicr teachers, as in branches of tho Civil Service: (.1) tint .£25 per child exemption bo made in war tax on income, as is made in ordinary income tax; (1) a uniform standard in proficiency English nnd arithmetic examination cards, many instances being cited of the inequalities f'.'iml nnd hardships arising therefrom: <■>) (hat the anomalies and injustices in the trrndimr of returood-soldier teachers be •brouuht before the executive of the New Zealand ildurational Institute, with a recommendation that immediate steps be taken to have justice dono to them.
