Boxing enthusiasts are looking forward with keen interest to tho match between James Clabby and Tommy Uren, which is scheduled to take place in tho Municipal Theatre at Hastings on New Years Night A purse of iMOO has been offered by the Hawke's Bay Boxing Association for a contest which is considered to be tlio most -notable that has taken pwoco iii the Dominion. Clabby's marvellous exhibition against tho New Zealand champion Heeney caused local sportsmen to consider him unbeatable in his class, but Ifien actually defeated Clabby on more than one occasion in Australia. Both boxers have been training steadily in Hastings lately, and their operations have been witnessed by .crowds of interested onlookers.
