DEATH FROM BURNS

STOCKING CIRCUMSTANCES.

Beujnmin were disclosed at the inquest this mornRitchie deposed that ;he was called at 5.30' o'clock on Sunday morning, and found the sufferer outside on the street, the only clothing remaining on her body being a piece of burnt singlet. Her body wns extensively bnrnrd, and Mrs. Benjamin was then unconscious. On entering the house he found her husband asleep in bed, and apparently no one in the residence had witnessed the fatality. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony, and added that there was no evidence f.-> show how deceased's nightdress became ignited.
