TOURNEY AT PALMERSTON. (From Our Special Correspondent.) Palmerston North, December 2fi. The Palmerston North Bo'.vling . Club held a pairs tournament during the Christmas holidays., the conditions being thirteen heads. There was a large attendance of the public, including ladies and several visitors from outside districts. The play throughout was most interesting, considerable excitement being caused by the splendid form shown 1 by the pair skipped* by Griggs, who is only a first-year player, and who tied with Radford nnd Grant, two well-known players, who eventually succeeded in winniwr the tournament.
