FIRE NEAR ROTORUA
SCRUB ON THERMAL RESERVE BURNED. By Telegraph-Press Asßooiaiimi. Rotorua, December 20. There was an extensive fire on Christmas Day and night in the Ivuirau Thermal llcserve, 011 the western side of the town of Rotorua. As it apparently started in two or three placce, it is supposed to have been wilfully caused. About lo acres of scrub was burned.
