RAILWAY FATALITY
TRAIN CRASHES INTO CART. ■ By Telegraph—Press Association. Pahiatua, December 22. A railway crossing fatality occurred at Maiiiamnirc a few miles south of Pahiatua, to-day, when the express from Wollimiton crashed into u cart driven by Allan Amos Roil (agod 18), son of a wellknown local farmer. Roil, who was gravelv injured, was brought to Pahiatua. but died en route. His horse was killed and Hit cart smashed.
