FIRST TEST TO BE HELD TO-DAY. Tho Postmaster-General (the Hon. J. G. Contes) has arranged that tho first aerial mail-carrying test will be conducted by Messrs. Walsh Bros, (of Kohimaramn) to-day. The seaplane in which the (light, will be undertaken is to lenvo Auckland for Dargavillo at 10 a.m. today with bags of mail -matter, and the return flight to Auckland will be mado early in the afternoon. The Post and Telegraph Department is defraying the cost of the le?t fliirht-the first official test yet held in New Zealand.
