He says he hopes that Fiume will formally bo annexed before Christmas, enabling him to complete his preparations for a flight from Rome, (o Tol;io, over Europe and Asia. The Government will withhold further food or pay from D'Annunzio'* troops. The. Socialists in Parliament are solidly ncainst ;he ratification of the Versailles Trealv, while the 'Catholics, mimber'ng 103. -are as totally in favour of a drastice revision.
