LOOKING FORWARD TO AIK . FLIGHTS. ■ (Rec. Decem'ber 15, 5.5 p.m.) Rome, December 13. D'Annunzio is '.turning to now fields of conquest. He says he hopes that Fiume will formally bo annexed before Christmas, enabling him to complete his preparations for a flight from Rome, (o Tol;io, over Europe and Asia. He hopes to extend his flight to California, touching at Hawaii.—"The Times." (Eec. December 15, 8.15 p.m.) Rome, December 14. The Government will withhold further food or pay from D'Annunzio'* troops. The. Socialists in Parliament are solidly ncainst ;he ratification of the Versailles Trealv, while the 'Catholics, mimber'ng 103. -are as totally in favour of a drastice revision.
