Tho commercial riiius and trusts who own and control the food and clothing supply of tho world rtrc enabled by their efficient organisation and economic power to a commodity 'prico tax' on the public without consideration for social or national welfare, the conference' therefore recommends to all workers that they deina'ird a price for their only commodity, labour power, in keeping with the high jiTfces now demanded for the neecssarijs of life, this being the only method which the wage workers can employ to maintain their standard of living."
