MANAGEMENT COMMITEE MEETING. Tho Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met on Tuesday Mr. C. G. Wilson presided. Tho Manawatu Association wrote stating they would be unablo to play at Wellington at Christmas time owing to a previous engagement with Wanganui. A letter was received from the Hawke's Bay Association, stating that the dates suggested by Wellington were unsuitable, and asking for a match at Wellington on January I) and 7. It was decided to inform tho Hawke's Bay Association that tho local association would bo unable to piovido n maleh on the dates suggosted, hut if the association could see their way clear to play at Wellington later in the season the local association would endeavour to meet them. After some considerable discussion regarding the classification of players it wns decided to inform tho Marist Club that a certain number of that club's third-class team be classified junior and debarred from playing third-class cricket. The Kilbirnie Club protested against tho Wellington College team refusing to allow a member of the former club to bat on Saturday last. A report is to be asked for from tho College Club.
