ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
" BATHJNG FATALITY. By Telegraph-i , "-'' Napier, December 8. T'ifz Neilson. a mill hand, was drowned in the Mohalta River at Pulcetitiri yesterday. He w:>= bathing with a companion. The latter' went away for a short while, and when he returned he found Neilson unconscious in the water. Artificial respiration was unsuccessful, and he died. He was married, villi three children.
BODY FOUND HANGING. Thames, December 8. Mr. ,T. N. Heap, manager, for Bag-noils-Bros, at Tiinia, H.iuralci Plains, was found dead hanging by the neck yesterday. No details are available.
• FATAL FALL FROM A BALCONY. Auckland, December 8. Mr. Woodruffe, a commercial traveller from Wliakntnnp. left the Waverley Hotel at D o'clock this morning, and a few minutes later was seen falling from a balcony on the third floor of Endenn's Buildings to the iniprior pavement ]>»- low, a distance of fifty or sixty feet. He was breathing when picked up, but expired almost immediately.
