PROTEST AGAINST A TRADE ADVERTISEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. 'Auckland, December 8. At a public meeting held under the auspices of the National Prohibition campaign it was resolved: "That this meeting of electors records its emphatic protest against the flagrant untruth contained in the liquor trade advertisement 'stating that unless a voter votes for continuance by striking out the two bottom lines, his vote will be invalid. It further demands that, action be taken bv the authorities to prevent the repetition of such practices."
