ANOTHER MOTOR ACCIDENT

A WOMAN INJURED,

Tn endeavouring to nvoul another vehicle in Tnrannki Street at about 11 o'clock on Wednesday night, a taxi-eal> driven by C. J. Masters collided with .1 telcrapli post, with the result that one of the occupants of the car-Mrs. Pickering—suffered injuries to her head, owing to the wind-screen and hood of the car being knocked down upon her. Tho injured woman was attended by Dr. Mackin, and was sent to her homo in another taxi. Iter condition became worso and at an early hour yesterday morning Dr. Pattio was called in and he ordered her removal to tho hospital, where she was admitted at 1.15 a.m. C. Sullivan, an employee of (lie City Corporation, was in charge of the vehicle which Masters said lie was endeavouring to avoid when the accident occurred.

The hospital authorities reported last evening that Mrs. Pickering was progressing as veil as could be expected. Her injuries are not considered serious.
