SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

An entertainment that proved most attractive and successful in every way was given before an appreciative audience by .Mrs. Gerald Bell at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. The performers were Misses Shepherd, D. Clarke. G. Shepherd, Messrs. Lionel Inch, G. Bell and Phipps. Miss Shepherd and Mr. G. Bell at tho piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, spoke on the prohibition question, and pledges followed. The prizes in tho competition came from the hostess and went to tho Arawa and Remuera.
