The (lowers and crooners over tile arches are now looking e.t their liest, and the Minister expressed himself as delighted with the general layout mid profusion of flowers, tree ferns, etc. After seein" the Square, which was a blaze of colour, set in the verdure of the liwns. th° Minister congratulated the Mayor and people on having such up-to-date recreation" reserves, and said he had no idea previously that Palmerston was so beautiful.
