Mr. Asquith, speaking at Birmingham, criticised tho Coalition Government for allowing Sinn Fein to become the dominant factor in Irish national life. He said that the Anti-Dumping Bill was unpopular. Even the tariff reformers regarded it as pernicious. Mr. Asquith described the British as the arch-dump-ers of the world, and added: "If we penalifo the dumpers we will suffer most." He condemned the premium bonds, which, he said, would be failure. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
