ALLAN WILKIE SEASON. Still another alteration has been mnde in the disposal of the AVilliamson.comranies which are to bo in New Zealand nt Christmas time. Up till last week the Grand Opera Company (headed by Miss Amy Castles), was to have been in Auckland for the festive season, but this, has now been changed. The £f:'and Onera Company will Ijo in Wellington at; Christmas, and the Musical Comedy Company, playing "Yen, Uncle" (first time, in Australasia), and reviving "Goins Vv," "Jiixh Jinks," aim "Canary Cottaie." will be in Auckland during the holiday period. The. Williamson Dramatic Conipany, headed bv Miss Muriel Starr, arrived here from Sydney by the IHverina last niirht. and will leave for Auckland by to-day's express. This company will be in Chrisrciiurch at Christmas. Adrian Aniadio, of the musical diree.toratn of J. C. AVilliamson, Lto., is at uresent in AVelliiiKton awaiting the arrival here of the new Musical Comedy Company. Miss lluriel Starr and the membera of the AVilliamson Dramatic Company, which is to play "The Man AVho Came 15ack." Dr. Carolyn Geisel, M.D., M.A., who wilt soon visit Wellington, is a woman of extraordinary achievements. Graduatine from ouo of the- largo medical colleges of Amorica at the age of twenty, Dr. Geisul ha« to wait a year before permitted to practice, medicine. Michigan, Dr. Geisel has found time to take degrees from two other American medical colleges, as well as the universities ot' Edinburgh and Petroirrad.
