B.y Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, November 25, At the Supreme Court, Richmond Pool, for indecent assault on a littlo girl, was sentenced to live, years' hard labour. Pone Mntenga, for theft of a motorcycle, was admittcff to probation for fifteen months. James Aickman, for causing bodilv harm to his father, was ad-, mitted to probation for eighteen months, and ordered to pay costs, J!ls. George Sherwood was fonnd guilty of stealing two magnetos while in tho cmploy of a motor firm, and sentenced to two years' imprisonment with hard labour.
