James Rao, a married man, 46 years of a"C, residing at Macandrew Road, commit ted suicido by lianginff to-daj. KILLED WHILE PIG HUNTING. The police advise that a man named Edward Morrison, about 53 years of age, accidentally shot himself at Whitmans Valley whilo out pig hunting. An inquest will be held at 9.30 to-day. . WATERSIDE FATALITY.
By TelegraDb-Prcsß Auoclatloe Nelson, November 24. Percy Gilbertson, a returned soldier, was unloading timber from a scow this morning, when a guy broke ami a sling of timber came down, striking Gilbertson on the head. He died on the way to the hospital. ,
■ THROWN FROM A CART.' Denis Reidy, aged 38 years, residing at 34 Holloway Street, met with an accident, in tho Ngahauranga Gorgo last evening. He was driving a horse and cart "when lie was accidentally thrown to the ground. He was admitted to tin Hospital at 7.30 p.m. suHenng from a broken right arm and injuries to both hands. He was also cut his face.
SENIOR CADET INJURED. Whilo drilling with the Senior Cadets at Buckle' Street last evening, a lad named Roy Wallace, aged lo years, slipped and broke his right arm. Wallace, who resides at 44 Webb Sheet, was admitted to the Hospital.

Christchurch, November 21. -. At an inquest 011 Major Guyon. Kenneth Mac Donald, -who was found dead on his property at Cheviot on verdict una returned of accidental death. Evidence ivas given that it ivas deceased's practice to take a gun out with him to shoot rabbits, and that the gun was unsafe 111 that it was verylight in the pull. The charge entered the body under tho ribs on the right sid , and the gun was lying on tho opposite sido of the fence to tho borlv.
