NOW IN ITS GLORY. Although tho fitormy winds have blown i with moro or less violence throughout the past month, and many gardens have suffered in consenuencp, the well-shelter-ed rosery at the ""Zoo" is simply a> riot of beautiful blooms of the choicest varieties of roses, and no one who visits the perfumed vale during thesp summer days can fail to be struck with the tremendous improvement wjvph hns lx?en effcetrd in whot was a cniin)e of years a bit of neglected woodlr.nd. A big rustic breakwind has been built byMr. Lanjjridcp at the northern end of the l rospry, which hns already become firmly knitted together with crimson ramblers, just about to burst into blown. During this year, too,. Ihp rosery paths have been neatly asphalted. A visit tn the roscry at the present time is wpll worth ivbilp by any interested in the exnimite variety in form and colour of England's national flower.
