Christchurch, November 21. Thero was a conference of flourmillors here to-day to discuss arrangements regarding wheat, ilour, bran, and pollard for next year. Tho chairman, Mr. Milligan, stated that tlio system of Government control and price-fixing would 1)0 continued. A motion was carried that the meeting is strongly of opinion that tho Government should encourage the growing of sufficient wheat in the Dominion for the country's requirements, thus oljvinting the necessity for largo importations.
