SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The seamen in port on Thursday were entertained nt the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday by Miss N. Wilson, who was assisted bv the Misses Olsen, M. Wilson, Mac Donald. Cranmer, N. Wilson, and Mr. Valk (Karamen). - Misses Olson and N. Wilson were at tho piano. Tho competition, short stories, was much enioved. j The inissioner thanked the donors of'prizes and recent gifts of books for the work.
