WAR GRATUITY

PAYMENT TO V.A.D.'S. ' The payment of war gratuities to Voluntary Aid Workers of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force has been authorised. Workers will bo eligible who (1) Signed an agreement to serve with tho N.Z.E.F. (2) Served in that Force for a continuous period of not less than twelve months. (3) Wero administered by the N.Z.E.F.(4) Were paid from Now Zealand Government funds. Tho gratuity will be payable from date of signature of agreement providod duty was undertaken without delay; where any delay occurred the case will be referred to General Headquartore for decision.
