The jury retired at 1.25 p.m. and returned at 8.20 with a; verdict of not guilty nßainst the,three accused on the charge of conspiring. Inglis was found not guilty on tho second count, but tho jury were unable to agree regarding flayno and Xeylon; who will come up for a third (rial at the. criminal sittinss in February. Hail was allowed us before. Chnrlcs Tomlin, who pleaded Riiilty on six charges of false pretences, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment on each charge, the sentences (o rim concurrently. Accused was also declared an habitual riminal.
