RIFLE SHOOTING
PETONE R.C. V. iFEATIIERSTON B.C. On Saturday the members of the Petonc Hiilo Club journeyed to Featherston to try conclusions' with the local club; and on arrival by train were mot at the station and immediately conveyed by motorcars to the range, which is situated in mottv surroundings in the vicinity of the golf links. On arrival at the range thfl weather was favourable, but after (shooting commenced tho wind increased. At times the gusts were very sovere, and cn one occasion ono of the targets was blown away. Owing to tho strain on t.hem it was decided to keep the shooting going at tho SOOyos. only, where tho smaller targets fire used.
