THE VICTORIA CLUB. Tho wet weather prevented the pennant gamo Victoria against Newtown being played on Satuixiay. Under the centre's rules, the match now stands as a fixturo for next Saturday. This is somewhat unfortunate for Victoria, as on that dav a friendly match with Kolburn and AA'ellinglon had been arranged. However, tho Selection Committee, recognising that a postponed friendly match usually results in no game, have decided io fulfil all engagements, and although most of Ihe prominent players will be engaged in tho pennant, it is hoped that in tho friendly games the members selected will at least give their opponents a good game.
