RETURNED SOLDIERS

, WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. An extraordinary general meeting of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association was held in the Masonic Hall last night, Mr. J. D. Harper presiding. As tho outcome.of a question nsked by Air. A. Kyle at the previous meeting,tho chairman reported that Messrs. R. B. Bell and D. Smith had been appointed to represent Wairoa and Corn respectively at tho recent conference, by the associations concerned. The two associations were |ierfectly satisfied with tho two gentlemen. The matter was really not one for the Wellington association at all. Mr. A. B. Sievwright was elected to the vacancy on the committee caused by the resignation of Mr. Clutha Mackenzie. After further business had been considered the meeting went into committee to discuss the report of the Parliamentary Committee with reference to the submission of questions to candidates for Parliament.
