The Senate refused lo replace in Article X of the Peace Treaty the reservation keeping out tho United States, and rejected an amendment under which the United States would not be bound by Article X. The United States Senate has adopted a reservation providing that in the event of America desiring to withdraw from the League of Nations she shall be the sole judge as to whether 'her delegations under the Covenant have been fulfilled'.— Reuter. AUSTRIA ABOLISHES LAW OF UNION WITH GERMANY. (Rec, November 11, 10.50 p.m.) Paris, November 10. The first ratification of the Peace Treaty by the Central Powers has been received from Ausiria, which announces that the law providing for the union of Austria and Germany has ten abolished.—Router.
