(Coroner), at the Magistrate's Court", on Margaret Susan M'Pike, aged 25 years, wile of Leslie .lames M'i'ikc, who .died suddenly,at her residence. No. 112 Abel Smith Street, on November 7. • The evidence was to (ho effect that the deceased had suffered i'rmn an attack of influenza twelve months ago, and li.itf been in bad health over since, lleeical evidence was given Vn the client that death was due to haemorrhage of the lungs, and a verdictwas returned accordingly.

Robertson wore injured this morning oy the explosion of the hoiler on the river steamer Cluthn. The accident occurred near Bnlclutha. Ail were scailded. but hot. seriously, except: Reddie. whose hand and face were severely burnt.
