SPEECHES AT ANSSAC REUNION. London, November 4. General Sir E. -Henderson presided at the reunion dinner of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association. Sir Thomas Mackenzie a.'id Mr. Andrew Fisher >vere present. i Replying io tho tonst of "His Majesty's Forces," General Sir Tan Hamilton uaid a tribute to tho New Zealanders' gallantry. He. added: "Sand a cheque if you like to support the league of Nations, but for God's sake, boys, keep up your musketry practice." Replying to the toast of the "Overseas .Forces." General Sir John Monash said that the Dominions' war effort was the sreatest Imperial event of modern times. The very association of the. New Zealanders and Australians brought about a bond of comradeship which was not going tn-dic. The war bad been a wonderful exnerieneo for the dominions, despite their sufferings.
