One extra primo heavy bullock made £13 15s. Heavy made £30 to £3G, medium £22 10s to £27 10s.. and others £20 upwards. Best cows and heifers sold at £25 12s. Od., heavy £20, and others £12 upwards. Only 182 sheep
were penned. Tho quality was indifferent, only a few pens of primo heavy sorts coming forward. The sale opened with a considerable advance in prices, but later values woro inclined to recede. Kxlni. prime heavy wethers 775. to Sfis., heavy Gfls. to 705., medium 50s. to . r >7s. 6d., "extra prime ewes 81s. (id., heavy 555. to 625. (id., others ifls. upwards, shorn wethers 155., shorn ewes 335. 3d. Sixty-four lambs were penned, ami the entry was equal to requirements. Tho demand was easier. Best. 315., others 2fls. upwards.
