"TITK MIKADO." The performance of "The Mikado" is delighting large audiences nightly at the Grand Opera House. The students of some of the girls' schols are attending en masse. Excellent work is done by Mr. A. YV. Newton as Ko-Ko, and each evening sees an improvement in the work of Miss Jessir Newton as Kalisha, particularly in the comedy business suececdimr tho siren voice in "Tit-Willow." Miss Helen Gawi'ner i.s a sweet, winsome, tuneful i'um-Yum, and Miss Anne Sullivan •■<. pleasant Pitli-Sing. Good work is also done by Mr. Zante Wood ns the Mikado, and Mr. P. Twiss ns PoohBah. "THE SILVER KING." Mr. Allan Wilkie, who will conr-once his Wellington season on Monday \ >xt, reminds lovers of Wie drama th:- !ho box plans will be opened at the L|!»tol 10-morrow morning. "The Silver King' is thrilling and pathetic, and if- good wholesome fare right through. Mr. Wilkie has been seen in the heaviest Shakespenre and as n dnslring young hero in the world war, and now Wellington will have him as the soul-stricken "Silver King," the role which helped to make the late Wilson Barrett famous thirtyseven years ago.
