RIFLE SHOOTING
« The members of tho ICarori Defence Riflo Clu'b will firo tho first match of the first scries this afternoon on the Trentham riflo range at ranges of 300 ,\nd 500 yawls, 10 shots each. This will also be tho first match for the cup presented bv Deputy-President J. Bertram. Tho first series will comprise five matches, four of wliioh aro to count. Tho foEowing ranges have been decided on for tho fivo matches: 300. and 500 vards, 500 and GOO yards, 300 and 600 vards, 500 and 000 yards, all ton shots at each range, and 300, 500, and GOO yards, seven shots at cach range.
