-4f— TECHNICAL SCHOOL ADVOCATBD. By . Telegraph-Special (..orrcsc-ondciit. Palmerston North, October 30. At the meeting of the New Zealand Garage Proprietors' Association this afternoon Mr. H..H. Jlodgers, vice-president of tho Wholesalers' Association, delivered a most interesting address, in which ha advocated the'.establishment of n technical school to ieach motor mechanics the business. He suggested that t'uch garage proprietor shoulu subscribe a certain amount towards the establishment of the school, and contended that he *.votil<l reap the benefit ioiu'told Liter on, through being able to secure skilled' labour, which was practically unobtainable at present.
The matter was heartily taken vp by the delegates, who offered substunthfl donations in the room.
