Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, are In receipt of a cablegram from their London house, under date October 27, rendini; as fgllows:—"Wool sales opened. Attendance of buyers is large, competition animated, and the (•election enocl. As compared with last sales' closing rates, fine and medium croßsurcd arc 5 per cent, higher, and coarßC crossbreds unchanged. Merinos arc very firm, and any change in prices is in favour of eellor*."
