ANNUAL MEETING. The seventeenth annual meeting of tho New Zealand Employers' Federation was opened at the federation's office yesterday, the president (Mr. T. Shailer AYeston) being in the chair. Mitchell, vice-president, said they were informed that Mr. Weston intended shortly to join the rank? of the Benedicts and it had been decided to mark t!ie occasion by maklnir him a small presentation, which -would serve as somo recognition of Hie valuable services he lind rendered to the New Zealand Employers' Federation during the past ten YrnM. A piano had been purchased, Which ho hoped would prove an acceptable gift, and would give pleasure to his future wife and himself. The dcle<\itos present joined in wishing Mr. AVeston and his future wife all possible happiness. Mr. Wes|p'i replied, thankinu the delngatcs heartily for their handsome, gift and good wishes..
