FATHER O'DONNELL'S ARREST

APPLICATION FOR WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS. London, October 25. Three Judges of vie Irish King's Bench refused the application for a writ, of habeas corpus in the case of the Rev. Father O'Donnoll. Tho Chief Justice said that the detcni'ion of Father O'Donnoll was not illegal. He was glad he would be -handed over to his own unit. If the officer commanding the Australians considered a court-martial was necessary the military would pay ihe expenses of witnesses for the defence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
