HONOURED BY THE CITIZENS. London, October 24. General Diaz. Commander-in-Chief of ilio Italian Army, who is on a visit to London, was presented with the freedom of the city, and sword of honour, and was accorded an .enthusiastic reception. General Monash was amongst the guests at the Guildhall. General Diaz paid a glowing tribute to the work of the Earl of Cnv'an's troops in Italy— Av.s.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
