Thursday's North-West lii'.ssinn communique stales that Yudcnitc'i has occupied Strclna, on the Gulf of Finland. This will permit of a rear attack on ICrnsnayagorka, where heavy naval guns afford a subsidiary defence for Kronstadt. A British War Office coiniminifiue states Dial Ywlenitch on AVodnosday captured l'avlovsk, also Sabltna. twentyfive miles east of Gatchina. Oilier successes east of the Luga and north-east of Pskoff remove the menace to his- right flank. A Bolshevik wireless, dated Friday, claims tho recapture of l'avlovsk, Tsarekoe Solo, and villages south-east of Luga, •and the occupation of ToboWt. Unofficial messages from Copenhagen, dated Friday, report that the attack on Petrograd lias been resumed, and Ywlenitch's position is greatly finprovctl. Heavy guns and tanks have arrived, and are now in action. Yndenitch's army is within three miles of Kolnino station, the capture of which will cut the -Moscow railway.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
