ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS SOCIETY
Mr. E. W. Hunt (president) occupied' tlio chair at a well-attended meeting of the Accountant Student Society last evening, when Mr. W. E. Host, F.P.A. (N.Z.), of Christchurch, (delivered an instructive address on "Debentures of a Limited Liability Company." ' He described the various kinds of debentures and thoir functions, and the advantages and disadvantages attaching to their issue. 'Hip entries nccessary to record tho issue in tlio books of account were llien described. Ifr. Best was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his able address, and was congratulated upon iiis recent election as president of tho New Zealand Society of Accountants.
