CHINESE EXPELLED FROM MEXICO
ANTI-ASIATIC AGITATION. New York, October 21. The Washington correspondent of the New York "Times" states that it is understood that approximately three thousand Chinese have heen driven from Mexico to Guatemala, The Chinese Government has appealed to the Slate Department, which is considering a suggestion that a Government vesesl should transport them to China. The expulsion from Mexico :'s the result of a popular campaign against Asiatic 1 labour.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
