QUESTION OF RENEWAL. ' The attention of tho Primo Ministor was drawn by Mr. G. V. Pearce (Paten), in the House of Representatives, to ft report from Australia that tho meat commandeer had been renewed there at Bd. per pound. Mr. Pearce asked li tho Government had any information ou the point. Mr. Massoy said he had not Been the report, and he had no information reKardins it. He lino cabled to the Hiuh Commissioner about a month ago, asking if the Imperial authorities were prepared to renew tho contract with the New Zealand meat producers, but he had not vet received any reply. He would cable again.
