MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
A largelv attended meeting of municipal emoloyees was held in tho Clyde Quay School last liirrht fo discuss tihe answer of the. City Council to their demands. ■. After some discussion tho following resolution was unanimously passed:—"That this meeting of municipal employees, believing that their requests are the. essence of moderation, rp"rets that the City Council has not met'them in, a more generous spirit. We further ask the council to receive a deputation in order that the questions in disrmte. may bo discussed." It was decided "that the Municinal Employees' Union rules be registered. '
