Mr. Justice Darling, at the Dorset Assizes, protested against the action of tho prison authorities in handing over thjreo Australians/ accused of doing grievous bodily hurra to a publican in Weymouth, to a. military escort, hy whom they were taken to Australia. Mr. Justice Darling- refused to enter a nolle prosequi, and said that if the men ever came back they' could bo tried. The publican was bs.dly injured.—Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn.
