Ait tlio Tainui inquiry, "Captain Daniel Bonner, , niaster of the coaster Mana, gave evidence that the Malia carried -benzine cargoes similar to' the , Tainui, and that, the Mana was an iron Vessel. He ivas a-former master of the Tainui,, and. carried benzine cargoes in both holds on occasion. He had never put ironv.ork on top of a benzine cargo.
