TRAMWAY TRACK REPAIRS'
■ At Thursday's meeting - of the..City Council the Power Stations and Tramways Committee reported as follows:—■ "That they have received the followina lejjort from the tramways manager with resuect to the relaying of the tram track at Liimbtori Quay, viz:— "I ta; to report that arrangements have been made to commenco the relay"insr of the track in Lnmbton'' Quay botwoeu Stewart Dawson's corner find the Kelburn Avenue on 'October 20.1t is proposed to deal first with the inward; track from Lambton Station, - and ' during the time this track is up all 'trafficfrom the Thorndon end' of-;the system will be diverted by the Post Office and Customhouse Quay. The public will, bo notified through the Press of the alterations in flio running of the seirics durine the time this work is proceeding" '
